Frontline Heroes: Requests

The Million Mask Challenge is a volunteer network that has made cloth face masks, scrub caps, and other items to fight COVID-19. Our priority is to support frontline health care providers. We also donate to other frontline heroes, including hospital support staff, police, firefighters, paramedics, food pantry and shelter volunteers, critical government employees, and frontline workers, as our supply permits.

We are responding to the pandemic in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.

Masks are donated — not for sale. Right now we are posting specific requests for emergency help as “Commit to Stitch” projects on our Facebook group. Please contact us if you need help.

We are watching the situation and streamlining our operation at this point in time because of the availability of masks for purchase. We are able to utilize our network in the event that supply of masks becomes an emergency situation again. We also will be updating mask FAQs, and maintaining and updating our patterns in light of new research. It has been our honor to support those on the front lines of the pandemic response. Every mask and scrub cap has been sewn with love for you.

Please email us at info@millionmaskchallenge.com if you are experiencing an emergency shortage and need to leverage our network for help.
